ABOUT:

ODO Play was a compact, education-focused delta 3D printer with a 14 cm diameter build area, auto-calibration (ODO Motion sensors), and a user-friendly interface. Priced at PLN 2,430 (~€600), it was distributed by ABC Data and MediaMarkt in Poland.

ODO Play was very easy in use—featuring a Polish-language Marlin firmware, „Kids Mode” (pausing prints when opened), and plug-and-play operation. However, it has limitations like no heated bed and slower heating times.

While initial prints showed decent quality (comparable to Robo 3D or Einstart-S), Longer tests revealed its weaknesses. Ideal for schools and beginners, ODO Play balanced affordability and functionality in the entry-level market.

Infinum3D, led by Tomasz Zwolan—a RepRap pioneer in Poland—gained nationwide attention by installing a massive industrial FDM 3D printer (ODO Kronos) at Ursus factory. With a 1 x 0.8 x 0.7 m build volume, dual extruders, and advanced features like filament recognition and anti-clogging systems, it was designed for prototyping vehicle parts.
