About AM Writer
AM Writer is a publishing brand created and owned by COLORISED – the company operating on 3D printing market since 2015. Founded as 'CD3D’ by Pawel and Anna Slusarczyk, for over a decade has been the primary source of information about the AM industry and market—first in its home country, Poland, and since 2024, worldwide.
But our journey through 3D printing dates back to January 2013, when Pawel Slusarczyk founded Centrum Druku 3D (eng. 3D Printing Center) – the largest and longest-running media outlet on additive manufacturing in Poland, and the third longest-running in Europe.
In 2023 CD3D changed name to COLORISED, and sold Centrum Druku 3D to private investors. Since 2024 the company operates in the very same area of AM but worldwide. In July 2024 we launched the 3DP War Journal newsletter on LinkedIn, followed by The 3D Printing Journal in August and AM Writer in September.
Keynote Speakers and Conference Hosts
Throughout our career in AM industry, we have supported the growth of all the major companies in the Polish market, as well as helped the most important global brands enter it. At the same time for over 11 years, we have organized dozens of 3D printing events, and hosted all of them. We have organized or supported the organization of several 3D printing trade shows.
Pawel Slusarczyk participated as a keynote spaker in many European conferences (such as 3D Print Paris in 2022), and in 2023-2024, he led the first two editions of Poland’s largest AM conference – Małopolskie Dni Druku 3D in Tarnów, Lesser Poland.
Pawel and Anna are the creator of the first ever AM industry awards plebiscite – in 2014-2019 we organized and ran the Polish 3D Printing Industry Awards (it was cancelled in 2020 due to C19 pandemic, and not restarted due to the war in Ukraine).
Renowned Authors
During over 12 year career in AM media, Pawel Slusarczyk authored over 4,000 publications on 3D printing. In addition to publishing articles on his own media in Poland, he collaborated with leading media in the world like 3DPrint.com, 3D Printing Industry and VoxelMatters. Since mid-2024, Pawel have been publishing daily posts and articles on LinkedIn, Medium, and Substack. He is the publisher of two newsletters: 3DP War Journal published weekly on LinkedIn and Atomic Layers published daily via growing mailing list.
Since January 2025, Pawel and Anna have been jointly running The 3D Printing World Guide—a weekly publication series showcasing 10 AM companies from various countries and regions. The publications are released in three formats: a post & PDF on LinkedIn, a PDF catalog on AM Writer, and an HTML newsletter on The 3D Printing Journal.
In January 2025 Pawel also launched The 3D Printing Journal Podcast.
The Three Market Laws of Additive Manufacturing
In August 2024, Pawel Slusarczyk published The Three Market Laws of Additive Manufacturing on 3DPrint.com – a study aimed to answer the following questions:
1. Why are leading companies in the AM industry experiencing financial troubles despite significant investments from investors, relatively large market shares, and considerable media recognition?
2. Why is there such high turnover among the leaders within specific sectors of the AM market?
3. Why do AM companies, after a period of dynamic growth and development, struggle and experience significant declines following their initial boom?
His work has been widely discussed but never questioned. It can be assumed that it has been accepted. The proposed principles are quite universal, yet true and effective.
