Overview
Laprosolda’s specialized team in WAAM technology has extensive experience in printing different metals and geometries, such as carbon steels in different grades, low-alloy steels, high-alloy steels, stainless steels, various aluminum, copper, nickel, and titanium alloys, as well as functionally graded materials, including dissimilar materials and in-situ alloying.
The company is capable of printing and post-processing metallic parts using its robotic cells and CNC tables for deposition, various machining centers, and a heat-treatment furnace for post-processing.
Legacy
Created in 1992 with a focus on Joining, Repair, Deposition, and Related Technologies, Laprosolda has dedicated the past 10 years to WAAM technology.
The company operates as a research center with more than twenty master’s and doctoral degrees accomplished in the field of Additive Manufacturing.
Over one hundred parts, ranging from centimeters to meters and grams to hundreds of kilograms, have been printed for oil and gas, steel-making, agricultural, mining, defense, and electrical companies.
