Overview

Craftbot, a Hungarian company, is a leading developer and manufacturer of high-quality 3D printers. Renowned for their reliability and durability, Craftbot printers excel in both educational and industrial settings. Their most compact model, the Craftbot Plus Pro, is designed for ease of use, making it an excellent choice for schools. Meanwhile, their larger models cater to industrial applications, offering robust performance for demanding tasks.

Craftbot printers are available for direct purchase as well as through a network of distributors. In addition to their hardware, Craftbot offers Craftware Pro, a powerful slicer software tailored for professionals who require precise control over every aspect of their prints. With a strong reputation for quality and innovation, Craftbot continues to be a trusted name in the 3D printing industry.

Legacy

In 2014, Craftbot launched its first 3D printers through an Indiegogo campaign, raising over $250,000—far exceeding its $50,000 goal. The following year, the improved Craftbot Plus debuted alongside the Craftware slicer, earning multiple 3D Hub awards over the years. In 2017, the widely popular Craftbot XL was introduced, followed by the Flow series of industrial printers in 2019, along with the upgraded Craftbot Plus Pro and Craftware Pro slicer.

Currently, Craftbot is finalizing the MK2 version of its IDEX printer. The extruder developed for this project is already available, while the closed-loop system and filament quality sensor are exclusive to select industrial partners. The closed-loop system detects collisions and missteps, ensuring precise positioning.

Meanwhile, the filament quality sensor (FQS) identifies material inconsistencies, making Craftbot’s latest printer ideal for high-tech industrial applications.
